I have a printout of an old Asp website (amongst volumes of Clubman magazine articles) which shows a complete list of chassis numbers and original owners. I have attempted to update my vehicle (chassis 12) details on Wikipedia, and if successful I will try to fill in all the blanks. Cheers to all Asp owners and Clubman fans.

2 later built ASP330 f2's

[edit]

I contacted Rory in 2008 when I learned he was doing assisted builds for the ASP clubman. Rory agreed to "license" my mate and I to build ONE ASP330 F2 each. Rory sent the original drawings and we built two cars. Rory saw the completed chassis' in Brisbane about 2 years later and issued us with official build plates and chassis numbers: 54 and 55. Rory also arranged for the original body molds to be sent to Morgan Park with a friend of his from Adelaide who was going racing there. We picked up the molds, made our bodies/noses etc and shipped the molds back to Rory. Later Rory added our cars to the ASP Racing web site including a pic of my car at Lakeside. Rory's description said the cars were built under "contract" by Charles Hoffman and Paul Hannell.

I would love to know where the 330 molds are now - my cars body iss getting a bit worn, torn and frayed... 1.141.51.148 (talk) 02:47, 30 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
