- Alna River → Alna (river)
- Balmi River → Balmielva
- Beiar River → Beiarelva
- Nea River → Nea (river)
- Sjønstå River → Sjønståelva
– Per WP:NCGN. Although the current names are attested, they are not widely used, and by the naming guideline, we should use local names instead. The WikiProject Rivers guide WP:RIVER#AT suggests that the format X (river)
should be used instead of X River for disambiguation. The official place names in Norway are administered by Kartverket, and I used https://www.norgeskart.no/ to determine whether the names should contain -elva or not. The suggested names would be consistent with other Norwegian rivers in the Category:Rivers of Norway. — Jähmefyysikko (talk) 15:53, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
