This is a difficult one, his name Alfred Johnson is common but I've managed to track him down and find his parents, birthdate and birthplace. I think he was an only child. I do find a wedding announcement in 1957 when he and his wife were grad students at the University of Arizona. She also worked in archeology and anthropology and died in 2006. They had two daughters. Problem is, I can only find a text copy of an obit on Ancestry so I can't cite this, and can not find the newspaper article. Newspapers.com does not have it, nor Legacy or the funeral home. Also when I started this rewrite for Alfred Johnson, it was in the past tense. I can find nothing that says he has died (as of November 2025). Article needs a photo and more citations, but I'm really running out of places to look. Sgerbic (talk) 08:05, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
