New Albazin

[edit]

According to Albazin was rebuilt in August 1685, and according to there was a second five-month siege, this time unsuccessfully. Avihu (talk) 18:11, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

'Nun' or Nen River

[edit]

As far as I can tell, the reference to the 'Nun' river here should be a reference to the Nen River. I could only find one other reference to a 'Nun' river in that area, which calls the Nun river a tributary of the Sungari, AKA Songhua River. From the tributaries of the Songhua, the Nen River seemed the most likely. That source is Johnsgard, Paul A., "Cranes of the World: Japanese Crane (Grus japonensis)" (1983).
