EADS CASA C-295Airbus C295 – per WP:COMMONNAME. The aircraft seems to now be overwhelmingly referred to as the Airbus C295 in reporting, including defence journalism and procurement announcements

Both EADS and CASA are defunct entities, and Airbus has marketed, developed, and sold the aircraft under the Airbus name for over a decade. The form "“EADS CASA C-295” appears largely in older or legacy material.

A single reverted move in 2018 owing to no discussion so listing it as a requested move to weigh opinions

Also in examples above "Airbus C-295" does continue to see some use, but "Airbus C295" is on balance more common. AlbusWulfricDumbledore (talk) 17:51, 25 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Agree. In absense of any widespread usage of other names, the name used by the manufacturer should be prefered https://www.airbus.com/en/products-services/defence/military-aircraft/c295 Csparta (talk) 10:59, 29 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
