Ailbe/Ailbhe/Elvis

[edit]

Strange as it may seem, the real "Saint Elvis" is not fiction but a genuine Irish saint of early times. Please do not flag this entry as "fiction." A lot of early saints' stories seem fantastical to us, but they were written in times when they were firmly believed, and belong to history, not sci-fi. No-one is saying that St. Elvis was not a real person - there are notable enough references to support what is said here. However, even those references admit that there is much legend now mixed in with the facts. Anything that can be done to improve the separation of the two is to be commended. --ClickRick (talk) 11:09, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
