Notable works list removed

[edit]

I've removed the section about "notable works" in each section. There was no source, and there is barely context to what constitutes "action fiction" in terms of media or genre theory. Per WP:NOT, Wikipedia is not a Simple listings without contextual information showing encyclopedic merit.. Regardless of how we limit it, these did not even have sources suggesting how they apply. Until more context can be applied to this, we shouldn't have these kind of listings. Andrzejbanas (talk) 21:05, 4 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

All that the listed examples needed was reliable sources that supported their categorization as action Novels, action Films, action Television series, action Comics, action Animation. As for "what constitutes "action fiction" in terms of media or genre theory" – this information is in the article text and sources. Pyxis Solitary (yak yak). "Genre fiction"

[edit]

I changed the header title because it was not descriptive of what the section contains: information about the "action genre". The header title was disconnected from the article's core "action" subject. My edit summary: "Genre fiction" for the heading does not make sense. "Genre fiction" is a generalized phrase that applies to *all* fiction genres -- it is not a straight description of the section in which content begins with "Action genre is a form of fiction...." followed with "The action genre is also related to...." The genre subject is specifically action genre. Pyxis Solitary (yak). – not queer. 02:31, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
