1938 data is wrong

[edit]

Italy was the champion in 1934. And in 1938 got his second title. The data is wrong. 186.11.112.23 (talk) 14:50, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Need info

[edit]

What are the numbers in parentheses beside team names?  Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-25308-58 (talk) 18:28, 25 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Inclusion of Debutants and returnees, absentee teams

[edit]

Both sections are WP:TRIVIA and have been removed. The debutants are discussed in the section before so a separate section is not necessary for this article. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 14:37, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Final standings

[edit]

Is there a reason why there is no table for final standings (like for all other World Cups from 1930 to 2014)? NoWikiNoLife (talk), 05:30, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

FIFA published an official ranking for 1930–2014, but has not published anything like that for 2018 (or 2022). Any final standings table created by Wiki editors (even if following the same methodology as the 1930–2014 rankings) would be unverified original research. Wburrow (talk) 21:46, 4 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
