New rules

[edit]

I'm no athletics specialist, so I'm not the person to do it, but it would be good to have something on the new rules being trial here, especially with the farce of the devil take the hindmost in the women's 3000m and steeplechase. Kevin McE (talk) 17:24, 20 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've added a rules section now. Any input is really appreciated because I want to make sure I've got the balance right. For the record I'm not mega keen on the new rules, but I've tried to present an unbiased account of their introduction. Have I given the same impression that others have heard/read in the press etc? Doping case

[edit]

The article needs to be updated, at least one doping case is missing: Russia's 4x400 men's team is disqualified, I assume this is because of Denis Alekseyev's doping case. See updated results. Ssu (talk) 08:37, 5 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
