We should replace the disco image

[edit]

On the collage, we should replace the middle image of the disco era to the Chilean coup d’etat. I mean, I know I said to not edit the collages anymore, but disco was only really popular in the late 70s, and we only associate it with the 70s because we have nothing else to associate it with. The Chilean coup was one of the most pivotal events of the 1970s. DementiaGaming (talk) 01:32, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Collage

[edit]

It appears an RFC on collages on Wikiproject years will be interpreted to also ban collages in decade articles. Users here may wish to participate. Koopinator (talk) 07:17, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

70s ended in 79? this is wrong

[edit]

surely the 70s ended in 1980? there was no year zero, so all decades end in a 0? Doktordoris (talk) 07:08, 1 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

I agree. When somebody learns to count to ten, they learn one, two, three, etc., not zero, one, two, etc. Sharkface (talk) 01:29, 21 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's called the 1970s. not the 197th decade of the gregorian calendar KILLGOESE (talk) 22:00, 17 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
