Stankovany (Hungarian: Sztankován) is a village and municipality in Ružomberok District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1322.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 438 metres (1,437 ft)[2] and covers an area of 18.92 km2 (7.31 sq mi) (2025).[4]
