Rajendra Gehlot is an Indian politician and a senior-leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the State of Rajasthan[1]. He is the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan since June 2020[2][3]. He was elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Sardarpura as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[4][5]
He has been active in public life in Rajasthan, particularly in Jodhpur[6]. During the 1975–77 Emergency in India, he was imprisoned for participating in anti Emergency political activities.[7]
