Plinia coronata, commonly known as jaboticaba coroada (king jabuticaba), is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae. It is endemic to south-eastern Brazil. The tree grows to between 4 and 12 metres (13 and 39 ft) tall,[2] and produces purple, edible fruit, which is between 25 and 30 mm (1.0 and 1.2 in) in diameter.[3]
