Papa Daniel Mustapha (born 1 January 2002) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Slovenian PrvaLiga club Celje and the Nigeria national team.[3]

Club career

Papa Daniel has played for Turkish club Adanaspor during the 2020–21 season.[4] In 2025, he joined Slovenian PrvaLiga club Celje, with whom he won the 2025–26 league title.[5][6]

International career

In March 2025, Papa Daniel was named in Nigeria's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe by head coach Éric Chelle.[7] He made his senior debut for Nigeria during the 2025 Unity Cup tournament.[8]
