Nick Kovalakides (born 1939/1940)[2] is an American javelin thrower.
Life and career
[edit]Kovalakides was born in Princeton, New Jersey,[3] the son of Greek immigrants.[4] He attended Princeton High School, graduating in 1957.[5]
Kovalakides was an All-American for the Maryland Terrapins track and field team, finishing 5th in the javelin at the 1959 NCAA Track and Field Championships.[6] He also competed at the 1963 Pan American Games, winning the silver medal in the men's javelin throw event.[7]
