- Nemichthys curvirostris (Strömman, 1896) (boxer snipe-eel)
- Nemichthys larseni J. G. Nielsen & D. G. Smith, 1978
- Nemichthys scolopaceus J. Richardson, 1848 (slender snipe-eel)
