Mozn AI is a Saudi Arabian artificial intelligence (AI) and financial technology company headquartered in Riyadh. Founded in 2017, the company develops software products for financial crime prevention and generative artificial intelligence (GAI) applications for organizations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.[1]
History
[edit]Mozn AI was founded in 2017 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by Mohammed Alhussein, Khaled Al-Ghoneim, Abdullah Alsaeed, and Malik Alyousef.[2][3] The company focused on the development of AI systems for financial institutions, including tools designed to support anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, compliance, and risk management processes.[4][5]
In 2022, MOZN raised US$10 million in a Series A funding round led by Raed Ventures, with participation from Shorooq Partners, VentureSouq, Sukna Ventures, and other investors.[6]
In 2025, MOZN introduced Agentic AI features and launched OSOS, a generative AI platform for Arabic-language data and document analysis.[7]
