In 2026, Thailand was announced as the host country for the Miss Global 2026 and Mister Global 2026 competitions, marking the first time that both pageants were scheduled to be held together in the country. The events are organized by TPN Global and are scheduled to take place from 29 September to 11 October 2026. Ratchaburi was selected as the official co-host city, hosting cultural activities and preliminary events during the competition period, while the grand final is scheduled to be held on 11 October 2026. This edition marked the debuts of Canary Islands, Costa Rica, Estonia, Guatemala, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Maldives, Mauritius, Slovakia, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, and Togo.[citation needed]

This edition marked the return of the El Salvador, which last competed in 2015; Argentina, Honduras and Martinique in 2017; Finland in 2019; England and Iceland in 2022 and Bahamas, Egypt, Greece, Lithuania, Myanmar, Peru and Türkiye in 2023.[citation needed]
