Marumba spectabilis, the rosey swirled hawkmoth, is a moth of the family Sphingidae. The species was first described by Arthur Gardiner Butler in 1875.
Distribution
[edit]It is known from Nepal, north-eastern India, southern China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia (Peninsular, Sarawak) and Indonesia (Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi).[2]
Description
[edit]The wingspan is 94–118 mm. It is more rufous brown than other Marumba species.

Biology
[edit]There are three generations per year in northern Guangdong.
The larvae have been recorded feeding on Meliosma rigida.[3]
