Liparetrus badius is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.[1] It is found in Australia (Western Australia).[2][3]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species belongs to the rufipennis species group. The defining characters of this group include the absence of setae and scales on the disc of the pronotum.[3]
Description
[edit]Adults reach a length of about 8–10 mm (0.31–0.39 in). The frons and base of the clypeus are dark brown or black, and the rest of the body is reddish brown.[3]
