Haresh Hingorani is an Indian visual effects designer and supervisor known for his works primarily in Hindi cinema. He has served as the Visual Effects Supervisor at Red Chillies VFX, where he has supervised the visual effects for numerous films.[1][2]
Harry has received several accolades for his work in visual effects, including the IIFA Award for Best Special Effects for Om Shanti Om (2007), Ra.One (2011), Krrish 3 (2013), Fan (2016), Jawan (2023), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024).[3][4][5]
Harry fetched the National Film Award for Best Special Effects for his works on Ra.One (2011) shared with visual effects producer Keitan Yadav.[6] He garnered five Filmfare Awards for Best Special Effects for Om Shanti Om (2007), Ra.One (2011), Fan (2016), Zero (2018), and Jawan (2023).[7][8]
Career
[edit]Haresh Hingorani began his career in the visual effects industry during the early 2000s and has worked on numerous Indian feature films. He later joined Red Chillies VFX, where he became one of the studio's senior visual effects supervisors, overseeing large-scale productions and collaborating closely with filmmakers on integrating computer-generated imagery into live-action filmmaking.[2]
In 2017, he was featured in Digital Studio India's "Hot 100 VFX" list for his contributions to the Indian visual effects industry.[5]
