Gerald William Nichols (born February 10, 1964) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Redskins. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles and was selected in the seventh round of the 1987 NFL draft.[1] He lives in Sarasota, Florida and is retired from the National Football League.[2] He was a 1985 Second team All-South independent football, 1986 First Team All-South Independent football selection
