Geekplus, branded as Geek+, is a Chinese robotics company that develops autonomous mobile robots for warehouses.[1][2]
History
[edit]Zheng Yong founded Geekplus in Beijing in February 2015. Before that, he had worked in supply-chain and manufacturing roles at ABB and Saint-Gobain.[1]
Geekplus initially developed mobile robots that carried storage racks or goods to warehouse workers. By 2018, it had delivered more than 5,000 robots for around 100 warehouse projects in China and abroad.[3]
In 2020, Geekplus partnered with warehouse systems integrator Conveyco to distribute its technology in North America.[2]
The company raised more than US$400 million between 2018 and 2022. A US$200 million Series C round was completed in 2020.[4] In 2022, another US$100 million round valued Geekplus at about US$2 billion.[5]
Geekplus listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in July 2025 after raising about HK$2.7 billion in its initial public offering.[6]
In February 2026, Geekplus established its headquarters in Xiong'an New Area, Hebei.[7]
Products and technology
[edit]Geekplus makes mobile robots that move goods through warehouses. In fulfilment centres, the robots can carry storage racks or containers to picking stations.[1][4]
This is a form of goods-to-person fulfilment. Geekplus has shelf-to-person and tote-to-person systems, while other products are used for pallet handling. It also makes systems for sorting and moving materials within warehouses.[8]
Operations and market position
[edit]Geekplus has supplied systems to companies including Walmart, Nike, Dell and Decathlon.[2]
China Insights Consultancy estimated Geekplus's warehouse-fulfilment AMR revenue at about RMB2.2 billion in 2024, equal to 9.0% of the global market. It ranked Geekplus first in the segment for the sixth year in a row.[9]
