Scope too narrow, hence "promotional"?

[edit]

Your draft concentrates on one particular form and brand of rolling knife sharpener, and consequently seems rather promotional (see WP:NOPROMO).

I myself have had a knife sharpener for decades, in the form of a 3.5 cm diameter, 0.8 cm thick central grinding disk linked by an angled, slightly convex metal 'axle' on each side to two larger outer rubber-tyred 'wheels', all firmly fixed together (top profile roughly thus, ||\||/||, overall diameter and width about 4.3 cm). The knife blade is placed in one of the grooves on either side of the grinder, and is held at the correct angle by the sloping axle; the blade is then used with downward pressure to roll the sharpener back and forward on a flat surface, and the inside edge is ground by the rotation.

This is clearly describable as a "rolling knife sharpener", so if your proposed article does not also cover such tools, it will be incomplete. Hope this is useful. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} ~2026-76101-8 (talk) 20:55, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
