Rahmat Ellahi is a Pakistani mathematician, researcher, and academic who serves as Professor of Mathematics at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). His research contributions are in the fields of applied mathematics, fluid mechanics, nanofluids, heat transfer, porous media, and computational modeling. He is a recipient of the Pakistani civil award Tamgha-i-Imtiaz and has been recognized among highly cited researchers by Clarivate Analytics.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Rahmat Ellahi was born in Bamla, Mulhal Mughlan, Chakwal District, Punjab, Pakistan. He completed his PhD in mathematics from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He later completed postdoctoral research at the University of California, Riverside, United States.[2]
Academic career
[edit]Ellahi joined the International Islamic University Islamabad as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and later became Professor of Mathematics. His research areas include nonlinear differential equations, fluid mechanics, nanofluids, porous media, heat transfer, and artificial intelligence-based computational modeling.
He has participated in academic and scientific collaborations involving universities associated with the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.[3]

[edit]According to Google Scholar, Ellahi has authored or co-authored more than 350 research publications. His work has received more than 32,000 citations and his Google Scholar h-index exceeds 100.[4]
He has been listed among the world's highly cited researchers by Clarivate Analytics.[5]
A Stanford University global ranking study included him among the top 2% scientists worldwide.[6]
His research work includes studies on fluid mechanics and mathematical modeling using machine learning and physics-informed neural networks (PINNs).[7]
