Motel Transylvania is an upcoming American animated television series based on the Hotel Transylvania franchise produced by Sony Pictures Animation. It is set to debut on Netflix in 2027.
Premise
[edit]The series is set to focus on Dracula and Mavis opening a motel.[1][2]
Production
[edit]Motel Transylvania was announced in June 2024 by Netflix as part of the streamer's slate of animated projects underway.[3][4] Animation for the series was produced by Icon Creative Studio in Vancouver, Canada.[5] In August 2025, it was revealed that Genndy Tartakovsky is involved with the series.[6]
Release
[edit]Motel Transylvania is set to premiere on Netflix in 2027.[4][7]
