Mamta Raut is an Indian playback and stage singer associated with Bhojpuri and Hindi music. She has worked as a playback singer and has also performed in live musical programmes.
Career
[edit]Mamta Raut gained recognition through singing reality television programmes. She won the second season of the Bhojpuri singing reality programme Sur Sangram in 2010. She subsequently won the second season of Bharat Ki Shaan in 2012.[1]
In November 2012, The Times of India reported that Mamta Raut had won Bharat Ki Shaan 2 and had received opportunities to sing in Hindi films. The report also stated that she had recorded songs with Sukhwinder Singh and Mika Singh.[2]
