Lu Hpring (born 31 January 2000) is a Burmese singer and songwriter. She became known through her participation in the television singing competition Myanmar Galaxy Star in 2017.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Lu Hpring was born on 31 January 2000, in Myitkyina, Kachin State, Myanmar, and was raised in Hpakant, Kachin State.[2] She studies Innovative Media Production at Bangkok University in Thailand.[2]
Career
[edit]In 2017, Lu Hpring competed in the talent show Myanmar Galaxy Star Program 2017.[2][1] She was subsequently selected for the Galaxy Star Korea Camp and performed on the program's grand final stage as a member of the project group September.[2]
Lu Hpring signed with JBJ Entertainment and released her debut digital single "Ma Ngo Buu" in 2018. She later released the mini album A Chit Lar through JBJ Entertainment.[3]
She has been covered by Myanmar entertainment media for her music activities and later became a member of the musical duo BLUSH under BG18.[4][5]
As a solo artist, Lu Hpring has released pop and R&B songs including "Radio", "A Flower", "Sorry Not Sorry", "May 2021", and "Lay Har Nal".[2] The music video for "Lay Har Nal" was released in June 2025.[6]
In 2026, Lu Hpring released the songs "Just Call By Name" and "Thwar Tot Mal".[7][8]
