Loving Dory is an upcoming American animated short film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Lou Hamou-Lhadj. Part of the Finding Nemo franchise, Ellen DeGeneres reprised her voice role as Dory, who falls in love with a plastic bag, thinking it is a jellyfish. However, her romance becomes dangerously toxic, forcing Nemo, Mr. Ray and his class to save her.

On April 25, 2026, Deadline Hollywood reported that Ellen DeGeneres was set to reprise her role as Dory in a new short film based on the Finding Nemo franchise.[1] At the 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 26, Pixar officially announced a theatrical short film titled Loving Dory with Lou Hamou-Lhadj as director and Mary Alice Drumm as producer.[2] Additionally, Nami Melumad was revealed to be composing for the short film, with Thomas Newman, who composed both films in the franchise, serving as executive music producer.[3]
