Khalid Ghanem (born 21 January 1997) is a Moroccan actor, stunt performer, and producer based in Beijing, China. He is known for his work in Chinese film and television productions, including ‘‘The Wandering Earth II’’, ‘‘Home Coming’’, ‘‘Wolf Hiding’’, and ‘‘Hello, the Sharpshooter’’.

Early life and education

Khalid Ghanem was born in Agadir, Morocco. He studied acting and theatre in Morocco before pursuing a professional acting career. Following his early work in Moroccan productions, he relocated to Beijing, China, where he expanded his career in film and television.[1]

Besides his native Moroccan Arabic, Ghanem speaks French, English, and basic Chinese.[2]

Career

Ghanem began his acting career in Morocco before moving to China, where he appeared in a number of Chinese films and television series. He has worked as an actor, stunt performer, and producer.[3]

His screen credits include appearances in the science-fiction film The Wandering Earth II (2023), the drama film Home Coming (2022), the crime film Wolf Hiding (2023), and the television series Hello, the Sharpshooter (2022).[4]

In 2026, Ghanem was cast as Ibn Battuta in the Chinese historical drama Wind Rises in Tongcheng (风起桐城).[5] [6] [7] [8]
