Under his leadership, the company has expanded through acquisitions across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, becoming one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the Midwest.[1] [2] He is also known for his business partnership with actor Mark Wahlberg in automotive dealerships and related ventures. [3] [4]

Early Life and Education

[edit]

Feldman grew up in southeastern Michigan and began working in the automotive industry as a teenager at his father's Chevrolet dealership. He attended Northwood University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business and marketing, and later completed the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Dealer Academy. He received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Northwood University in 2024.[5] [2]

In 2008, he established Feldman Automotive Group, and in 2013 consolidated the company's dealerships under the Feldman brand. Through acquisitions and expansion, the group grew to represent multiple automotive manufacturers across numerous dealership locations in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.[6] [7] The dealership group has consistently ranked among the largest privately owned automotive retailers in the Midwest. D Business magazine has repeatedly included Feldman among its annual Detroit 500, recognizing influential business leaders in metropolitan Detroit.[8] [2] In 2018, Feldman entered into a partnership with actor Mark Wahlberg to acquire and operate automotive dealerships in Ohio. The partnership later expanded to additional dealership operations and related business ventures.[8] [9] [3] [10]
