HUb Strategy and Communication is an advertising, design, and production studio based in San Francisco, California.

History

[edit]

Hub Strategy and Communication was founded by DJ O'Neil and operates using a network of freelance creative specialists. The agency is based in San Francisco, California.[1]

Some of the agencies most notable work includes the Oakland Athletics' “Green Collar Baseball” advertising campaign, which included television, radio, print, digital and outdoor advertising.[2] The agency also had a long-standing creative partnership with the San Francisco 49ers, including developing the advertising campaign for the opening of Levi's Stadium in 2014.[3]HUb was the advertising agency behind Stanford Children's Health's “Access to Excellence” campaign, which used illustrated video spots to promote the health system's pediatric wellness services.[4]In 2018, HUb Strategy and Communication developed the idea for an 82-foot-long blue whale art installation with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to raise awareness of ocean plastic pollution. HUb worked with Building 180 and artists Joel Dean Stockdill and Yustina Salnikova to bring the project to life.[5]Made from recycled plastic, the sculpture was recognized by Guinness World Records in 2018 as the world's largest recycled plastic sculpture (supported).[6]
