Comment: User-generated sources are not considered reliable and cannot establish notability per WP:GNG. The GuitarWorld piece seems okay, but it alone isn't enough. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:05, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
GuitarTuna is an all-purpose musical app/tool. It launched in 2012 and remains active to this day. It is created and maintained by Yousician.
Originally it was a free guitar tuner and quickly gained prominence in the early App Store landscape. Over time, multiple instruments and different tunings were added (their website cites 111 tunings across 15 stringed instruments).
Features continued being added over the years, with chord charts and tabs to over 800.000 songs added.
It currently offers different subscription tiers for access to different features (song courses, chord & tab diagrams, metronome and different music learning tools) but the core tuner functionality remains free which maintains its popularity.
The official website has been redesigned and offers the majority of its content for free.
