Gracjan Kraszewski (b. August 1987) is an American author, historian, athlete, and YouTuber. Considered an author in the "Catholic Postmodernism" school[1], he has written seven books [2], including the climatological disaster novella "Seraphim and the Dust Plague" [3], and the Civil War history "Catholic Confederates" [4] [5] [6] [7] His short story "First Impressions," an excerpt of his 900 page novel "Thermonuclear Mirth," was nominated for the Pushcart Prize by the literary journal The MacGuffin.[8] He played baseball at King's College in Pennsylvania, graduating with the highest career batting average in school history, and afterwards professionally in the Czech Republic and Belgium before joining the Polish National Team from 2011-2013. [9] [10] [11] [12][13] [14] [15] He earned his PhD in history from Mississippi State University in 2016 [16]. He taught afterwards at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign [17] before moving to the Pacific Northwest for positions in the Washington State University Department of History, the WSU School of Design and Construction [18], and as "Director of Intellectual Formation" at Vandal Catholic in Moscow, Idaho. [19] He is the creator and owner of the 100,000+ subscriber YouTube channel "Maple Gracjan Syrup" [20]
