Global Rhinology Network (GRN) is an international academic, non-profit educational organisation focused on training and knowledge sharing in the fields of *rhinology* and *anterior skull base surgery*. The network delivers free and open-access surgical education through live international webcasts, online courses, and recorded instructional content, with the aim of improving access to specialist rhinology education worldwide.

History

The Global Rhinology Network developed from an international live surgical webcast initiative known as *LIONESS* (Live International Otolaryngology Network – Endoscopic Sinus Surgery), which began in 2014. The LIONESS programme connected rhinology surgeons and trainees across multiple countries through real-time surgical demonstrations and expert commentary. The success and global reach of these early webcasts led to the formal establishment of the Global Rhinology Network as a dedicated educational platform.

Mission and activities

The stated mission of the Global Rhinology Network is to advance global surgical education in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery by reducing geographical and financial barriers to specialist training.
