Filip Rejczyk (born 20 April 2006) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ekstraklasa club GKS Katowice.[1][2] He has represented Poland at youth international level and was a member of the team that reached the semi-finals of the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.[3]
Club career
[edit]Legia Warsaw
[edit]Born in Stalowa Wola, Rejczyk played youth football for DAP Lider Trześń and AP Profi Zielonki. He joined the academy of Legia Warsaw in 2019 and later appeared for the club's youth and reserve teams.[4]
He made his first-team debut on 21 July 2023, replacing Bartosz Slisz in the 82nd minute of a 3–0 league victory over ŁKS Łódź.[5] Rejczyk made six Ekstraklasa appearances during the 2023–24 season. In June 2024, Legia announced that he would leave the club at the end of his contract after declining a new agreement.[6]
Śląsk Wrocław
[edit]On 17 June 2024, Rejczyk joined Śląsk Wrocław on a two-year contract which included an option for a further season.[1] During the first half of the 2024–25 campaign he appeared six times for the first team: three times in the Ekstraklasa, twice in UEFA Conference League qualifying and once in the Polish Cup.[7]
By February 2025, he had been moved to Śląsk's reserve side, having not appeared in a first-team matchday squad since the previous November.[7] He made 14 league appearances for the reserves during the season.[1] His time in Wrocław ended in July 2025 after the club's relegation from the Ekstraklasa.[8]
GKS Katowice
[edit]Rejczyk signed for GKS Katowice on 18 July 2025. His three-year contract runs until June 2028 and includes an option for an additional season.[1][4]
His first-team involvement during the opening months of the season was limited. In October 2025, TVP Sport reported that he was primarily playing for GKS's reserve team while working towards a place in the senior side.[9] He finished the 2025–26 season with two Ekstraklasa and two Polish Cup appearances for GKS.[2]
Rejczyk was injured during the spring of 2026. During the following pre-season, he joined ŁKS Łódź on trial and played in two friendly matches, but the club decided not to pursue his transfer.[8]
International career
[edit]Rejczyk represented Poland at several youth levels. In May 2023, he took part in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in Hungary.
On 27 May, he scored from a direct free kick in the 89th minute of Poland's 3–2 quarter-final victory over Serbia.[10] The win took Poland into the semi-finals, where they were eliminated following a 5–3 defeat to Germany.[3]
