The third season of Battle for Dream Island, titled dnalsI maerD rof elttaB (IDFB), premiered onto YouTube on September 1, 2016. The season currently has one episode as it is on delay.
Overview
[edit]This season revolves around 21 anthropomorphic objects living in Yoyle City, taking place after the second season’s finale. A wall teleporter (a device allowing people to teleport between walls, which must be charged up for multiple weeks to work) is discovered by two characters, which allows them to hold a vote who should be teleported out of the Locker of Losers. Every episode, viewers can vote in the episode’s comments section, by typing the name of the character they want to leave the Locker of Losers. While characters occasionally die throughout the season, they can be brought back to life with machines called "recovery centers”.[1][2][3]

Set sometime after the events of BFDIA, the contestants have settled into Yoyle City and have various misadventures. It is revealed that several things have happened to the contestants between BFDIA and IDFB, such as Fries losing almost all of his fries, Firey becoming an antagonist and being confined to a cage by FreeSmart, and Pin having proper limbs again after Golf Ball used the red paint on her body and turned it into limbs, though Pin is now rendered colorless as a result. Golf Ball and Tennis Ball visit the Science Museum of Yoyle City and find a "Wall Teleporter", which can create portals through walls. They decide to use the Wall Teleporter to free contestants that are still inside the Tiny Loser Chamber, though they can only do one at a time. | |||||
