Beta Pictoris d (abbreviated as B Pic d) is the third planet from the star Beta Pictoris. Beta Pictoris d was discovered on June 22, 2026, by JWST [2]. Beta Pic d obits at about 26AU from its star and takes 91 years to orbit it [3]. It is 64 light years from Earth and is very young only about 20-26 million years old [4]
Mass and Radius
[edit]Beta Pictoris d is estimated to have a mass of 2-4 Jupiter masses and because of this mass it is considered to be a Super-Jupiter. It has a radius or 1.26 Jupiter radii or about 88,100 kilometers in radius.
Atmospheric Composition
[edit]Beta Pictoris d's atmosphere is made of Hydrogen, Helium, Carbon dioxide, Carbon Monoxide and Methane [1]
Discovery

Color in infrared
[edit]Beta Pictoris d likely has a color as seen through infrared telescopes as a Deep red color but from human eye we cannot see this Deep Red Color from the human eye[1]
