Ankit Menon is an Indian music composer, producer, and music supervisor who primarily works in the South Indian film industry.[1] He is best known for his contemporary soundtracks and film scores in commercially successful films such as Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022) and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil (2024).
Career
[edit]Menon made his debut in the film industry as an original soundtrack composer with the 2020 comedy-drama film Gauthamante Radham.[2] Following his initial work, he went on to compose music for several films, including Thirike and Antakshari.
He gained widespread recognition for his collaboration with director Vipin Das on the 2022 super-hit satirical drama Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey.[1] He reunited with Das for the high-profile comedy film Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil (2024), starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph, which further solidified his presence in the industry.[3]
In addition to composing, Menon has also established a career as a music supervisor, overseeing the comprehensive soundscapes and tracking musical curation for projects like the coming-of-age film Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024) and its sequel Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros (2026).[1]
