Cyprus competed at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.[1][2][3] This marked Cyprus's 12th participation at the games, after making its debut at the 1978 Commonwealth Games.
The King's Baton relay stopped in Cyprus in May 2026.[4][5]
The Cypriot team consisted of 36 athletes (23 men and 13 women) competing in five sports.[6][7][8] High jumper Elena Kulichenko was the country's opening ceremony flagbearer.[9] Meanwhile, para powerlifter Maria Markou was the baton bearer during the opening ceremony.[9] The Cypriot team also consisted of 29 officials.[10][11][12][13] Cyprus' only gold medalist at the games, Giannis Antoniou served as the country's closing ceremony flagbearer.[14]
Cyprus won 12 medals (one gold, five silver and six bronze) to rank 14th on the medal table.[15] The marked the country's second best performance (in terms of overall medals) at a Commonwealth Games.[15]
