Cyclic vector

In the mathematics of operator theory, an operator on an (infinite-dimensional) Banach space or Hilbert space has a cyclic vector if the vectors span . Equivalently, is a cyclic vector for in case the set of all vectors of the form , where varies over all polynomials, is dense in .[1][2]
