Carl Rhodes is an Australian academic who serves as Professor of Business and Society at the University of Technology Sydney Business School;[1] he was the Dean from 2021 to 2025.[2]
Academic career
[edit]Rhodes has held academic posts at universities in Australia and the United Kingdom, including at Swansea University, the University of Leicester, and Macquarie University.[3]
His research concerns the ethical and political dimensions of corporate activity, including questions of corporate power, democratic accountability, and inequality.[citation needed]
Rhodes serves on the editorial boards of Human Relations,[4] Organization Studies,[5] Organization[6] and the Journal of Business Ethics.[7] He is editor of the book series Routledge Studies in Business Ethics[8]

Recognition
[edit]Rhodes has been listed on Stanford University's database of the world's top 2% most-cited scientists.[22] In 2017 he received a Doctor of Letters from the University of Technology Sydney.[23]
