Audrey Hancock (28 February 1919 – 21 October 2017) was a British swimmer who competed at the 1936 Summer Olympics.[1]
Biography
[edit]Hancock was born in Dudley, England and was a member of the Dudley Ladies Swimming Club.[2]
She was the amateur backstroke lady champion of the Midlands[3] and represented England at the 1934 British Empire Games[4] in London, where she competed in the 100 yards backstroke event.[5]
At the 1936 Olympic Game sin berlin, Hancock competed in women's 100 metre backstroke.[2]
