The Aftercare World Tour was the third headlining concert tour by singer-songwriter Nessa Barrett. The tour was announced on November 19, 2024 in support of her sophomore album Aftercare. It began on February 4, 2025 at the Fillmore in Minneapolis, Minnesota and ended on December 16, 2025 at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia.
The tour consisted of dates across the United States, Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Czechia, France, Japan, and Australia.[1] Barrett also performed at Lollapalooza in South America. Sombr and Ari Abdul served as supporting acts for the North American and European legs respectively. She was joined by Thomas Day for the Australian leg of the tour.[2][3]
Critical reception
[edit]Critic reviews were generally positive, with Allison S. Park of The Harvard Crimson praising Barrett's sense of humanity as a performer, mentioning that her "music and artistry extend beyond the stage, offering a sense of healing and connection." Park wrote that it was a "very simple" setlist, noting how the environment let Barrett "shine". She added that the show was stopped several times due to "crowd distuptions", adding that Barrett's coreographt was "simple" but kept audiences engaged.[4] Sarah Peter for Melodic Magazine praised Barrett's vocals and visual performance, describing the tour as "captivating" and "electrifying". Peter further praised the concert's opening act Ari Abdul, writing that Abdul left fans "energized and ready" for Barrett's headlining performance.[5] Allston Pudding's Vika Brennick wrote that Barrett had "truly connected with everyone in the crowd", mentioning how the tour felt "intimate" for being "such a large venue". Brennick complimented the tours visuals and choreography, calling them "stunning" and "sharp" respectively.[6]
