Association Jeunesse Sportive (الجمعية الرياضية للشباب), commonly known as AJ Sportive, is a Moroccan association football club based in the Sidi Moumen district of Casablanca.[1] The club competes in the Amateur National, the third tier of the Moroccan football league system.[2]
History
[edit source]Foundation and Regional Growth
[edit source]AJ Sportive was established in 2001 to promote football and youth sports development in the Sidi Moumen prefecture of eastern Casablanca.[3] Operating initially within regional amateur divisions administered by the Grand Casablanca Football League, the club progressively advanced through the national amateur ranks.
Promotion to National
[edit source]During the 2024–25 season, AJ Sportive achieved one of the most significant milestones in its history by securing the runners-up spot in the North Group of Amateurs I.[4] This achievement earned the club historic promotion to the nationwide Amateur National for the 2025–26 campaign after play-offs victory.[5]
In the third division, AJ Sportive competes against historic Moroccan institutions, including CAY Berrechid, RC Oued Zem, OC Khouribga, and local derby rivals CCFA Casablanca and CR Bernoussi.[6]
Stadium
[edit source]The club plays its home matches at the Stade Municipal de Sidi Moumen (الملعب البلدي سيدي مؤمن), situated in the Sidi Moumen district of Casablanca.[7] The venue features an artificial turf pitch and has a seating capacity of approximately 1,500 spectators.
