26th Knesset

The 26th Knesset (Hebrew: הכנסת העשרים ושש) is the upcoming legislature of Israel, with elections scheduled for 27 October 2026 to determine all 120 seats and form the 38th government succeeding Benjamin Netanyahu's current administration.[1]
Emerging from the completion of the 25th Knesset's full four-year term, the first to do so without early dissolution since 1988, the incoming parliament will convene following an election shaped by the aftermath of the 7 October attacks, subsequent Gaza war and regional conflicts, and domestic debates over Haredi military conscription.[2]
