The man who beat Isambard Brunel was Winston Churchill, 1st on the 100 Greatest Britons list (Brunel was 2nd). He was polydactyl. The legendary female baker was Marilyn Monroe (baptised Norma Jeane Baker - hence the baker) who was also reportedly polydactyl. Maycontainpeanuts 05:37, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Actually, I had another baker in mind: on the list of polydactyl people, the Padeira of Aljubarrota is mentioned; "padeira" = "baker-woman", apparently. Of course, your answer is also correct. Eugene van der Pijll 22:54, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
