| In this screencast, we'll show you the basics of using screencast-making software. For the purposes of this demonstration, we'll be using CamStudio, but other open source and paid-for programs are available. | Open CamStudio |
| For the purposes of this demonstration, I am using CamStudio in full-screen mode. You may wish to use a smaller area, which will reduce the resulting file size. I have also enabled keyboard shortcuts. The shortcut for recording and pausing is F8. | Show starting/pausing etc |
