The Composer of the Month for December is Pavlos Carrer, who initially achieved his reputation in Italy and became one of the most popular and widely performed composers in 19th-century Greece.

  • Dante e Bice (libretto by Serafino Torelli), premiered at the Teatro Carcano, Milan in 1852
  • Isabella d'Aspeno, (librettist unknown), premiered at the Teatro San Giacomo, Corfu in 1854
  • La Rediviva , (libretto by Giuseppe Sapio), premiered at the Teatro Carcano, Milan in 1856.
