The composers of the month for April are three composers for whom we lack biographies as well as articles on their operas.

• Thomas Clayton (1673–1725) – Rosamond and Arsinoe, Queen of Cyprus
• Fernando González Casellas (1925–1998) – Saverio el cruel
• Carl Unander-Scharin (1964 –) Byrgitta and Loranga, Masarin and Dartanjang
